To apply for a loan at Rhino Money Loans, you need to visit one of our branches and provide a consultant the following:
- tell them the amount you wish to borrow
- give them consent to continue with an affordability assessment
- give them the necessary documentation
- an original or certified copy of your ID document
- an original or certified copy of your latest 3 months’ bank statements
- if you are a salaried employee, an original or certified copy of your latest payslip is also required
- a complete breakdown of your current financial obligations, including any existing debt obligations
- consent that a Credit Bureau report can be drawn to establish and/or verify your current debt obligations and repayment behaviour
The consultant will discuss everything with you and give you feedback regarding your loan application and relate costs there and then.
If you then want to continue with the loan, the consultant will process all documentation and offer you different means of receiving your funds.
This is legally required by the National Credit Act and National Credit Regulations.
If one of our consultants or any other Micro Finance business does not ask you to provide all of the above information, they are acting illegally and you should report them by
